Author Guidelines
Lagos Journal of Library and Information Science (formerly Lagos Librarian) is a journal of Nigeria Library Association (NLA) Lagos State Chapter. It is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scholarly papers and articles, both empirical and conceptual, in the field of Library and Information Science and allied fields. It is published twice a year ( April and October).
Manuscript Submission
Lagos Journal of Library and Information Science (LAJLIS) welcomes original, unpublished articles not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review process in which the identities of the reviewers are withheld from the authors.
Authors should submit their manuscripts in MS-Word format by e-mail file attachment. The title, author’s name, position and place of work should appear on the front page while other pages should include an abstract not more than two hundred and fifty (250) words and a minimum of five (5) keywords. Manuscripts are double line spaced and not more than fifteen (15) A4 pages including all tables, pictures, references and appendixes. Reference follows the American Psychology Association (APA) referencing style 7th edition.
Manuscript Guidelines
Manuscripts that do not adhere to stipulated guidelines will be returned for correction and re-submission. Please read them carefully. References and notes should be indicated in the text by names of authors and dates of publication in brackets. The list of references should be provided in alphabetical order at the end of the text.
